Q. What is the Rapid Response Team? (SJRRT)

A. The Rapid Response Team is made up of paranormal research and investigation groups throughout the United States. Each group shares one common mission, which is to provide ethical, non-biased, fact based information in a timely manner to each and every client.

Q. Can I lose my badge and be removed from the SJRRT?

A. Yes! If your team has conduct unbecoming of a SJRRT member; your badge will disappear and you will be removed from our site. We reserve the right to remove any team at any time.

Q. My team is comprised of all family members do I really need to get them all background checks to be listed here?

A. If you are a family only group and all other guidelines have been met we will list your team.

Q. Im a TAPS family member can I join your SJRRT?

A. Of course! Other than ScatterJaw: Ghost & Hauntings that we know of, TAPS also only excepts teams that do background checks. Once we can verify our other guidelines have been met we will check with TAPS to verify your teams status.

Q. I have been running my own team for months but have no idea how to get background checks done on my members. Can you please guide me on this issue?

A. Whether your just starting a team or your a seasoned team we can make this fairly easy for you to go about ensuring the safety and credibility of your members:

Some teams that do background checks have non refundable fees or dues to join the group which will cover the cost of the check. The background checks can be done online for less than $20 USD. All your getting in these background checks is criminal history, we highly recommend also running a convicted sex offender, repeat sex offender, sexual predator check which you can do for free via your local police department website once you can verify the true identity of the prospective member. We also recommend getting all your members finger printed at your local police department, this can be done for $0-10 USD depending on your local police department policy.

Sometimes just merly mentioning background checks will deter individuals with criminal history from inquiring a spot on your team. Hope this helps if you have more questions regarding this topic please contact me anytime scatterjawhaunts@msn.com.

A. Ratings are found on all member pages. Before a team enters your home to conduct an investigation wouldn't it be comforting to know if they had prior incidences,and or un-professional conduct in past investigations?
